Apple has responded to the claim of Nokia, which blames the company in violation of more than 10 patents related to wireless technologies GSM, UMTS/3G WCDMA and WLAN. Nobody doubted the apple’s intentions of Apple to defend their interests in court till the end.
Apple dhas not responded officially, but stressed that is committed to all available legal means to defend themselves from Nokia.
Many analysts call it a standoff struggle between two Goliaths, and predict that the case could drag on for 1-3 years. as about the amount of compensation, there are different assumptions – experts believe that Nokia would require from $200-400 millions to $1 billion. Besides, the Finnish company requires a court to ban sales of iPhone in the world.
