Now The Iphone 5 users have to buy a new SIM card before they start using this device, as Apple has for the first time introduced a new Nano SIM Card for Iphone 5. The tiny SIM card is about 40% smaller from the pervious Macro SIM that is been used in The Apple Iphone 4/Iphone 4S and this is the reason why Apple Iphone 5 has become the super slim smartphone.
In response to the above, The European Telecommunications Standards Institute clarifies that the SIM card that are been used today takes lot of space inside the phone. These spaces are more valuable and can be replaced with a number of extra features.
The size of the nano SIM card is merely 12.3×8.8×0.67mm, which is too small to hold it. The nano version needs to be taken care of or there may be a chance of misplacing it. Unfortunately, the early adopters who have purchased the SIM free device from Apple store on September 21 have to buy a new Nano Sim Card so that they can use the phone. Vodafone has already made its network ready with the launch of Iphone 5 and gave an announcement of 500,000 Nano Sim cards in their stock.
