There is interesting news to those mobile lovers who are desperately awaiting news about the latest upgrade to the iPhone. The new iPhone 5 is going to hit the market in a slightly different but crucial manner. This exicting phone will have a 4 inch screen instead of a 3.5 inch one. This was reported in “ Digitimes” in Taiwan.
Apple is now making desperate attempts to keep up with the makers of Android phones. They are already using the 3.7 inch screen as the minimum size and slowly the 4 inch screen is becoming the standard screen for many mobile manufacturers. Taking this into account Apple has decided to increase the size of the new IPhone 5 as there are many other manufacturers who are now exceeding the 4 inch limit and going up to 5 inch screens. This diminishes their difference with the iPads that are being launched in the market presently.
Another significant development in the mobile market today is the AMOLED display and Samsung is currently the leader in this regard. There is still as shortage of the AMOLED display in the market and time will only let us know when we are able to get this feature in all handsets. Till then let us wait for the iphone 5 that is schedule to hit the mobile market this summer!
