For those iPhone lovers who have been hoping for the release of the IOS 4.2 this week, there is disappointment as the release date of this widely anticipated phone has been further postponed to the 24th of November 2010. There are some rumors in the market that Verizon is behind this delay and it is anticipated that Apple has plans to announce the iPhone on the Verizon platform along with the release date of the iOS 4.2. Nothing has been officially stated by Apple as yet and users will have to wait and watch for the time being.
It was anticipated earlier that the release date on this phone would be on the 12th of November but Apple was compelled to delay the release of the handset on account of iPad and WiFi issues. The company had also released an additional Golden Master model of the phone and sources rumor that the next release date of the phone is all set on the 24th of November 2010.
