Android OS has been updated to version 2.0 (Eclair). Besides, the developers can already use the SDK to create applications for Android 2.0. Update includes a number of enhancements, including support for Exchange, Bluetooth 2.1 with OPP and PBAP profiles, and HTML5. Innovations also touched components such as camera, contacts, messages, browser and so on.
Android 2.0 Eclair specifications:
* Support for multiple Google Accounts and Exchange
* Quick Contact menu for quick access to contact information, including reports of calls and data communication
* General folder for incoming e-mail
* Search in SMS and MMS
* Automatically delete old messages after exceeding the limit set by the user
* Improved work the camera (white balance, color effects, macro mode, built-in flash)
* Improved on-screen keyboard
* Updated browser (just changed the interface and added support for HTML5)
* Added support of Bluetooth 2.1 with profiles OPP and PBAP
* Improved graphics hardware acceleration
