Acer Liquid A1 is now available in Europe – the first smartphone based on Android by Acer. Furthermore, it is the first Android-smartphone, equipped with documented Snapdragon processor 1 GHz (in Liquid A1 it is artificially reduced to 768 MHz), reports Slashgear. This device can be bought in the UK at the price from 329 to 340 pounds ($ 538-556).

Acer Liquid A1 is equipped with a touch 3,5″ display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, 5 megapixel camera, 256 MB RAM, modules Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3,5 mm audio jack for headphones.
The smartphone runs on Android 1.6, but later it can be upgraded to Android 2.0.
