Motorola intends to release about 50 models of mobile phones before the end of 2008. This was stated by the CEO Greg Brown.
According to him, in the second half Motorola will ship more phones than in the first. However, as Brown believes, the mobile unit of the company will not be able to retain market share in the third quarter.
Moreover, it is expected some increase in the loss of that period. However, in 4th quarter net loos should stabilize.
Brown supported competitors in the overall assessment of business, assuming that the market of mobile phones will grow on the basis of 2008 by 10%.
