T-Mobile G1 was the first smartphone designed specifically on platform Android. It appears that G1 won’t remain long the only of its kind and in the next six months we will see several more such devices.
As reported by Jason Bremner, chief products manager of Qualcomm, in an interview to journalists, the company Qualcomm is actively working on new Android smartphones with five different manufacturers.

Recall that in the T-Mobile G1 uses chipsets of Qualcomm. According to the Bremnera, these smartphones will be treated to a variety of price categories. They must see the light in the coming quarters. As said Bremner, almost all current customers of Qualcomm seriously look to Android.
Analysts expect that such manufacturers as Motorola, Samsung and LG will provide at least one Android model in there portfolio.
