Christian Dior Phone was to be announced as early as Friday, May 16, but it turned out that the event was briefly postponed.

It turns out that the phone has been developed by Modelabs, the same company that made the phone Hummer. Phone Dior works in GSM and 3G-networks, equipped with touch screen and has a unique set of multimedia content.

Together with the phone will be supplied original remote control. Bluetooth-accessory will serve as a headset, which can accept and carry calls.

Christian Dior hopes to sell 10 000 of its phones this year. Estimated price of the gadget is $3500-5000.

Czech resource Mobile Idnes published information about the forthcoming smartphone Samsung SGH-L870.

He has not yet been officially announced, but demonstrated at the presentation in the Netherlands in April. According to the source, the device announcement could take place on June 17 in Singapore at the exhibition Communic Asia or even earlier - at Computex in Taipei 3 - 7 June.

Samsung SGH-L870 was made in slider form-factor and resembles Samsung Soul - equipped with the same tachpad placed below the display.

RIM finally officially announced the smartphone BlackBerry Bold, which has already been rumoured known as BlackBerry 9000. All the preliminary information already known about the device was practically confirmed, including support of 3G networks, availability of GPS and Wi-Fi.

But the dream of many BlackBerry smartphone fans about the touchscreen display is yet to be fulfilled (though, according to the latest unofficial information,there were no such expectations). But the display of Blackberry Bond has a resolution of 320×480 pixels.

Manufacturer notes also the design of its device: an updated QWERTY-keyboard and the cover of rear shell texture reminiscent of the skin.
