The Megapixel Rush continues as LG announced in London that it plans to develop better cameraphones. The main directions of the company will include the followings:
• phones with matrixes, with more than 10 Mp;
• the opportunity to record video in HD-quality (with the help of DivX);
• The possibility of high-quality music playback (with the assistance of Dolby).
As a result, according to John Barton, director of sales and marketing of LG, phones are likely to become just like usuall photocameras point-and-shoot.
In addition, LG hinted on the possibility of a SDK for developers of applications for Touchscreen phones, but also expressed a desire to improve the GPS system for it to give clear voice commands and manage it.
